The Garden Haven - One Day Floral Retreat At Howe Hill Flowers

SUNDAY 17th AUGUST 2025 - 10am to 5pm
STRICT LIMIT OF JUST 4 ATTENDEE PLACES.
TOTAL COST OF THIS EVENT IS €450. An initial, non refundable deposit of €150 is paid at booking through the website, the balance of €300 is invoiced to you and can be paid in full or in installments before the event.
For just one day this year, we will open our studio doors and garden gate to a very limited number of flower worshippers for a floral retreat.
The day begins with a guided tour of our cutting gardens. Afterwards, while you sip on some freshly brewed tea and coffee, Flicky will demonstrate how she designs and creates a bowl centrepiece using beautiful homegrown flowers and foliage.
With a pail and snips in hand, attendees will then explore the gardens in search of ingredients for their own centrepiece designs. Flicky will be on hand throughout to advise in the cutting process.
While ingredients rest and drink, so will attendees! We will enjoy a beautiful, tapa’s style picnic of fresh, locally sourced delicious food, including handmade breads from Diva Bakery in Ballinspittle, organic salads, cheese’s and spreads from Gather in Ballinspittle, and an array of Rebecca’s Kitchen cakes and pastries will follow!
After lunch, attendee’s will spend the afternoon creating their own centrepiece designs, assisted by Flicky’s creative eye. Kate Bean (Kate Bean Photography) will join us to capture candid photos of attendee’s in creative mode, and afterwards take beautiful images of their work.
Local accomodation recommendations, plus eateries and sights list will be given to all booked attendees.

The balnce of €300 can be paid in full or in installments after booking and paying your deposit.
VAT is included @ Reduced Rate 13.5% and official nreceipts are provided.
Should you need to cancel your booking, refunds (minus non refundable deposit) will only be issued once your place has been rebooked by someone else.
