A Relaxed Floristry Workshop With An All You Can Pick Flower Buffet

For just one day each flower season, we open our garden gates to just four flower worshipers, inviting them into our bloom laden gardens and gingerbread house studio to learn and delight in the fine art of garden led floral design.

The day’s schedule;

  • 10am welcome to the studio

  • 10.10am to 11am garden tour

  • 11am to 12.30pm design demonstrations (foam free bowl design & hand gathered bouquet design)

  • 12.45pm to 1.30pm picnic lunch

  • 1.40pm to 4.30pm harvesting ingredients from the garden and creating your own designs. Kate Bean will be on site from 3pm onwards to capture the magic!

  • 5pm hometime. You will go home with two beautiful pieces which you have created yourself. One piece will be in a high quality ceramic vessel, yours to keep. You will also go home with a high quality Oasis Ippon Scissors (the best florists tool!), and a branded Howe Hill cotton tote bag to keep and transport your newly learned craft tools in.

  • About a week after the retreat Kate will have our suite of photo’s ready, I will email you a folder of your beautiful images which are yours to use and keep.

Some of the lovely flowers we should have for our April event will be speciatity tulips (including the incredible “La Belle Epoque”), narcissi, hyacinth, ranunculus, blossoming branches, bluebells and many more.
