Hiring For 2026
I am currently seeking an assistant for the 2026 (and beyond) season!
Here is what I am looking for;
A creative individual with a keen interest in flowers and design.
A practical problem solver.
Someone who is pretty organised and has a really good attention to detail.
Someone who likes coffee and much as me, and is up for having the laughs.
Someone who doesn’t mind a bit of hard (often grubby!) work and gets stuck in.
Someone who has a full, clean, Irish driving license and can drive a manual van.
Preferably someone who has some floristry experience, or a background in some creative art and design field.
Someone who can work Tuesday through Friday each week and may be able to work some additional Saturdays if we have a big wedding.
Our work day is 9.30am to 6pm.
Here is what I can offer you;
€500+ per week (depending on experience).
Training both in house and with other floral designers.
Employee discounts.
The usual employee standards; payslips, annual leave, pension scheme, etc.
Winter’s off! We close completely from mid to late December, and right through January and February each year, this is when we take our annual leave. We do not have a crazy busy florist’s Christmas - it’s family first. So, if you have previously worked in retail floristry you can expect a completely different vibe - no freezing to the bone fingers, no wire ripped nails.
No exclusivity contract. If you want to freelance with other florists and designers on your days/time off that is completely cool, and encouraged, by me. I will even hook you up with other wedding florists throughout the country should you wish. The more experience you gain can also benefit our work here.
