Abundant Pastel Blooms At Inchydoney Lodge & Spa

Abundant, luxury vibes were the order of the day for Feliciti & Shane’s May wedding celebrations at Clonakilty Parish Church and Inchydoney Lodge & Spa.

The beautiful altar at Clonakilty Parish Church.

For this couple, we focused on creating large, abundant, key focal arrangements, rather than the tradional Irish “lots of little bits”. Rather than a tradional unity/altar candle arrangement, we designed a large meadowscape on the floor in front of the altar, and framed the vista with two large urn and plinth arrangements on either side. This later became the most beautiful backdrop for family photos.

A set of large urn and plinth arrangements framed each side of the main entrance doorway.

We also completely abandoned aisle flowers for this wedding, instead focusing the budget on the areas of the church where all the photo’s would take place - the doorway and the altar. This freed up a significant portion of the budget also to decorate the hotel tables for the reception.

Feliciti’s beautiful May bouquet included delicacies such as sweetpea, peonies, roses, stocks and delphiniums.

The banquet suite at Inchydoney Lodge & Spa decorated for Feliciti and Shane’s wedding feast.

We filled lots of pretty, ceramic bud vases to adorn the guest tables in Inchydoney, adding pastel colour taper candles in gold holders, and twinkling glass T-light votives for lower level candlelight. The church displays were restyled around the sweetheart table at the top of the room.
