What fun it is to work with sugar pastel coloured flowers, especially for a sunny, summer’s day wedding. We loved working with Emma & John to create a pretty, summer flowers suite for their wedding at Clonakilty Parish Church and afterwards in Dunmore House Hotel.

We were thrilled to be able to include lots of our garden grown blooms - cosmos, dahlias, sweet pea and roses. The wedding took place in late August and we still had plenty of garden flowers to choose from.

Each bridesmaid carried a smaller and more contained version of Emma’s bouquet. Each of the four flowergirls carried fresh flower wands with silk ribbon streamers which danced on the breeze.

Emma & John decorated the length of the church aisle with pretty posies of flowers and neutral green ribbon bows. The aisle markers later became the fill for the guest table vases at Dunmore House Hotel.

The florals for the U shaped top table were restyled from the church ceremony. The altar centrepiece became the main display on the table. The doorway plinths were displayed to the back of the table, framing those sitting at this main table.
